Love Misplaced explores affection as something displaced, suspended, and emotionally untethered. Through surreal sculptural forms and distorted gestures, the series examines intimacy in contemporary culture, where connection often feels simultaneously amplified and distant.
The works occupy a fragile emotional space between vulnerability and spectacle. Familiar symbols of love are recontextualised into surreal environments where affection appears fragmented, floating, or unresolved.
The sculptures are intentionally emotionally unstable. Love Misplaced reflects on how modern relationships are shaped by distance, projection, and emotional performance. The forms appear playful at first encounter, yet gradually reveal a quieter emotional tension beneath their polished surfaces.
