Classical Avant Garde reinterprets art history through the visual language of contemporary culture. Classical compositions collide with pop iconography, commercial symbolism, and playful disruption, creating works that exist between reverence and rebellion.
The work operates through juxtaposition.
Recognisable figures and historical references are interrupted by contemporary symbols, exaggerated gestures, and cultural distortions. This intervention creates tension between permanence and immediacy, refinement and mass culture, nostalgia and reinvention.
Rather than preserving art history as something untouchable, Classical Avant Garde reframes it as living visual material. The series embraces contradiction. Humor coexists with critique. Beauty coexists with disruption. Cultural memory coexists with contemporary obsession.
